Jackal Legacy review
« on: March 01, 2021, 06:02:44 PM »

The Jackal balls from the MOTIV brand has certainly made a huge statement  in the bowling world and has created a name for having great performance and continues with the  new Jackal Legacy. This ball is designed to handle heavy oil conditions that bowlers will encounter.
Used often in recent years, the Predator V2 core has proven to be a versatile, strong, and reliable high-performance core. It is used in the Jackal Ghost which provides a fantastic benchmark asymmetric shape and in the more recent Jackal Flash to produce the most angular Jackal ever made. And now, it is being used with Coercion MXC Solid Reactive cover stock to create the strongest Jackal in the MOTIV line.
The Coercion MXC Solid Reactive cover stock made waves through the sport. Without a doubt, one of the strongest covers in bowling today.
Bowlers can expect the  solid Jackal Legacy to provide a ton of traction in heavy oil, a smooth and a controllable shape that minimizes over/under reaction on wet/dry conditions.

Layout 50x4.5x20

Legacy is definitely an accurate name with this one. Definitely a very solid piece to carry on the Legacy for the Jackal Line.
I laid this ball out to be fairly clean. The reason being with this being such an aggressive ball I put a longer pin on it and what a great decision.
Ive found so far that Motiv did a great job at designing this ball to be naturally clean with this being such a big ball.
With the layout that I put I found it very appealing as it allowed the Legacy which has a low rg to naturally read the lane while it still retained plenty of energy making it extremely continuous the pins. Comparing it to my Alpha Jackal, I found the legacy to be much slower off the spot downlane and a little earlier. A great ball to start off with when the lanes have quite a bit of volume on them!
