Title: GT1 cleaning
Post by: ronsyl on February 16, 2010, 03:21:46 AM
Just got a GT1 . I was wondering  if I clean it with their gel cleaner will it remove the factory  gel polish? Should I use only the gel polish to clean the ball?
thanks
Ron

Polish on a ball is not something that is applied like paint. You cannot dissolve it. It has to be sanded to abraded off. So your answer is no.

Question #2: never use polish to clean a ball.
Use cleaner to clean a ball. Use polish to polish a ball.

KISS applies to bowling as it does to many thing in life.

Motiv has three excellent products.

Power Gel Clean,
Power Gel Scuff,
Power Gel Clean & Polish,

If you want to just clean your ball, I would use their Power Gel Clean..
If you want to clean and remove the polish, I would use their Power Gel Scuff.
