Title: if you had my arsenal, what Motiv ball would you add?
Post by: goneal32 on January 28, 2015, 09:50:11 AM: I have a oob HyperCell, a Motiv Jackal, a Hammer BadAss and a Ascent Apex..If you had this combo in your bag, what would you add from Motiv and where would it go?

Post by: Joker-1 on January 28, 2015, 11:35:46 AM: Are they all ooh surface or just the hyper cell? you have 2 heavier oil balls, a badass that could be skid flippy but can rolly based on surface and layout and a light oil ball. I think whats lacking in your arsenal is medium oil balls i would look at the sting or the octane if you badass is set up to roll and the venom shock if your badass is setup for more skid flip.

agreed or at least an IQ tour.. i wanted to say venom but didnt know about the badass.. if you wanna keep it oob id say shock sting or octane are all fine tho

Post by: tommyboy74 on January 28, 2015, 08:11:40 PM: If your Bad Ass is drilled to read the mids earlier, definitely go with the Sting. Great ball, versatile, and priced to sell. Bowling.com and bowlingball.com still have them available at last check. That would give you a solid and pearl combo for medium to medium-heavy oil that is pretty tough to beat.

The Shock is a great ball and would fit very nicely below the Sting but above the Apex. It's really versatile as well and cover a lot of different patterns nicely.

They are getting hard to come by, so not much use in mentioning it.

Post by: relentless1 on February 28, 2015, 06:47:02 AM: I agree with the others about adding a Sigma Sting to your arsenal for transition purposes. You're going to need a ball that will push through the front part of the lanes if the oil dries up quick. I would also look into the Venom Shock (which I've heard is very good), Octane or Tribal.
