This ball has internal diff! Should be a little more angular than the Shock without really being longer.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think this is the first asymmetrical ball not only in the Venom line, but also the first asymmetrical ball in the low-mid price range from Motiv...

This release will be more than interesting! Being a huge fan of the Shock, I am intrigued on how this one will compare to the rest of the line.

We shall see.

Interesting, I wanted a strong solid cover on the Cobra and Shock Pearl core, but this might do the trick.

If it comes out on March 20th, I should have one in my hands by March 5th or 6th. And you know I will be buying one...

15 lb. numbers.

Core: Gearâ„¢ APG - NEW!
R.G.: 2.47
Diff.: .036
Int. Diff: .013

Same cover as the T10 and OG Villain.  I like it and will get one to work off of the beloved Shock!

So do you think this might have a reaction similar to the loved OG honey badger?

Wow. I want this. This has benchmark written all over it for me

Mid-low int. Diff has been a winner for me

I get they use Venom series naming for marketing since the line is successful for the most part. But it's not the same core... I guess 900G did this with the Badger line also, but I also questioned that naming convention/series choice as well.

Marketing is a tricky thing, guess they look at it as a shape and condition thing is similar in the end result of the ball, and the core is a modified version of the original Venom line balls, so it's not too much of a stretch.

Rambling done, i'm excited about this one and will probably pick it up, last few balls i've gotten have been from Utah and EBI after being on the Motiv only wagon for a couple years.

Might be why they made the ball look so much like the Panic to avoid being accused of slapping a snake face on any ole ball.  Still looking forward to seeing videos.

Motiv has done this several times now, and I agree, should be a different line. Hammer did it with the Black Widow line(only once if I recall).

Motiv had the Primal TV4, which used the Thrust Core, but the Primal Impulse had a completely different core shape which is still being used in the Primal series today.

They also did it with the Forza line with the original Forza, Forza Redline and Forza GT having the same core, then the Forza SS used the Sigma core. Seems to me that makes it NOT a Forza.

Oh good catches Milo. Yeah I find it an odd approach myself.

From my understanding, it is a Venom that prepares us for the no weight hole rules. The motion we love out of the Venom Shock, but without the hole to get the extra umph needed.

Also, the Venom Cobra and VSP use a different core than the other Venoms. The Octane Carbon had a different core than the other Octanes. The Golden Jackal uses the 3rd different core in the Jackal series. I guess it's a marketing thing.
