BowlerX ball review:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxbKOD3Rin4

I like JR's youtube videos. I usually find them very informative. But I'm not sure what I'm supposed to get from a video of a pearl reacting hard off the friction of a fresh house shot. I can do that with any one of 10 pearls I have sitting in my garage.

Maybe there is something special about this ball, but I'd need to see how it handles real world second shift conditions where carrydown comes into play. That's how I evaluate the true capability of an aggressive pearl.

He went live throwing it, the Alpha Jackal and an Idol Pearl, was a 20-25 minute long session with him mic'd up, worth looking up. Much more lineage on the lanes he was on and the Nemesis really was carving up the backends even when he got infront of the ball return.

Got pointed out to me this ball has a different core to the other Tridents.  A bit weaker looks like.

That's true. Higher RG, lower diff, less intermediate diff. I think they were going for a different look instead of this being the Quest part 2. Showing off their new cover means you don't have a core that overpowers the cover.

Yep looks like might be a little more useful on something besides just the flood which is why I am wondering about keeping Trident name.  Dismissed ball a bit at first because was like oh Trident ball and with trident core (edit: Turbulent) so too much ball for me.

I've heard that the pros that got this ball first were complaining that the 5500 LSP surface was too clean without hitting it with surface and that Motiv responded by making the second and future batches of the Nemesis with a 5000 LSP matte finish similar to the Ripcord. Got my Nemesis Friday and it is 5500 LSP.

The one thing missing in my bag was a Strong Asymmetrical Angular Pearl ball. This ball is Hot off the Spot and does not disappoint. Love the transition when my benchmark balls (Ghost, Shock) cant carry those pesky corner pins; I am able to pull out the Nemesis and let it fly to the dry and never have to worry if it will make it back or not. Drilled mine 35x5x20.
