My first week of Fall leagues are now complete. I bowled Monday and Thursday in the same house and threw the Redline exclusively. I had a few practice outings with it and discovered a few things about it. It gets dirty really quick. This may be a good thing because there is no way I'm forgetting to clean it at the end of the night. It hooks way more than I expected. My layout is a demo day special, pin above the bridge and cg in the center of the palm. I ended up hitting the ball with a worn 4000 pad and some clean and dull to get all the dirt off of it and decided to not put polish back on it. This seems to be a good surface for me as I like the ball better like this than with the polish. The shot at the house I'm bowling at is a little different this year. The outsides are drier than normal, anything outside of about 8 just kicks hard left immediately. To combat this I moved deeper inside from the get go to avoid missing a little right and having the ball go straight left. The strength of the Redline worked well for this as it had plenty of pop in the back-end to go through the pins correctly. I ended up shooting 663 on Monday night and 792 with 299 the last game on Thursday night. So far I'm liking my switch to Motiv!
