Loving the Shock
« on: November 04, 2015, 07:51:35 AM »
OOB I liked the Shock for house shots, but it was an over and under nightmare on the sport patterns I was facing. One of my older balls seems to have lost its punch, so I decided to bring the Shock back in my arsenal. Also to be fair, I didn't have abralon pads when I was testing it. After changing the surface to 500/2000/worn 4000, I began to see why most people love it so much. Bowling on the 43 ft Tokyo, I could literally play wherever I wanted. I started around the track area and continued to migrate left. I even went up the ditch and I was still able to shred the tack with ease. Some of my stuff seems to either not produce enough pin action or too much to where it's ineffective. For some reason, this one gives me all the off-hits and split the 8-9 on a regular basis. I must get another NIB just in case!
