I really like the Rogue Assassin motion. I'm about to jump into the Motiv deep end, and that may be the first ball I drill.

Why Motiv?

Why not?

Just seemed you loved Global forever to just drop them. I suppose you can find your way through the Motiv line. I really like how Global had the cover strength listed numerically. I like it when companies make things easier to make decisions in what ball fits where. I think Radical has been doing a good job trying to help the consumer lately.

Oh, don't get me wrong. The product is still great, I've just decided to go another way. Total personal reasons.

Doom doesn't owe 900 crap at this point.  Don't blame him a bit.  900 is good but Motiv is just as good if not better (is a Motiv board after all).  Like and own multiple balls from both brands.

So now it’s a Motiv board. Ok. Nothing wrong with trying different stuff. Im trying the Brunswick made stuff currently since 75% of the stuff out there is going to be made in Mexico

Was mildly upset at first about all the EBI stuff but did pick up an Intel on Black Friday clearance so still willing to buy Mexican made if it catches my eye.  I'm a sucker for good benchmarks.

So what's the biggest difference between Motiv stuff and Brunswick stuff??

To me, they are very similar!

TL;DR version - Motiv is very good from dry to medium because get a lot of value out of their mid level balls which tend to be house shot killers.  Brunswick is very good for medium to heavy because can pick up their hook in the box specials six weeks after release for a hundred bucks.  Grabbed the whole set of Quantums on clearance this way as well as some Radical asyms.  So difference is mostly business model for me I guess being the cheap b*stard I am.

Motiv is Made In The USA. That's why you should buy it over Brunswick,

Balls: Motiv Trident Abyss, Motiv Mythic Jackal, Motiv Trident Odyssey, Motiv Venom Shock, Motiv Hyper Venom and Motiv Hyper Sniper. All made in the USA. Long live the Turbulent core!
