Kevin's Tribal Fire Ball Reaction Video
« on: August 15, 2014, 04:14:10 PM »
Hello all!

Here is my MOTIV Tribal Fire ball reaction video.

In the video I compare the Tribal Fire with the original Tribal, Octane, Ascent Apex & Venom Shock, using my "O" technology. :)

Hope you enjoy!

Kevin,
Based on your video, the Venom Shock and the Tribal Fire were practically identical. Is this because of the 44ft pattern? Or are the drills that differnet that it caused this? I was under the impression that the Shock would be stronger than the Fire, am I incorrect in this thinking? Thanks.

Well it is VERY hard to classify balls as being "Stronger" nowadays. The Venom Shock is no doubt sooner than the Tribal Fire making it stronger in the front part of the lane. The Tribal Fire no doubt has more potential and responds quicker down lane. So as you can see "Stronger" is very difficult to describe as they are each stronger in different parts of the lane. However, I do understand what you want to know and as far as hook potential goes the Venom Shock is "Stronger"!

MOTIVMags,
I understand what you are saying. That distinction is what really confused on the video in the OP, as both balls played basically the same. I didn't see the Tribal move more on the back end of the lane, nor did I see the Shock start up sooner, which is what I was expecting. I thought overall the Shock had more hook potential which is probably what I should have stated rather than "stronger".
