Looking to try a Motiv ball.
« on: December 12, 2014, 09:36:03 AM »
Well it has been a while since I have bought a new ball. The last ball I bought was the IQ Peral and never been happy with it. Right now I have been rolling my old Brunswick Equipment. Radical Inferno and Fury. Since I am from Michigan I would like to support a local company. So looking for suggestions of a good medium oil ball that can become my New Benchmark ball.

Not sure on what my revs, I am rolling at about 14.5 Mph and tend to play 13 at the arrows and 7 at the breakpoint.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Start with the Sigma Sting, it's the best ball Motiv has made to date.

I will second Milo on the Sigma Sting.

I have heard nothing but good about the Sigma Sting and almost bought one approx 3-4 weeks ago, but backed off because I do better with higher differential balls in the .050 range give or take 2-3 points and the Sigma Sting's differential is  only .032 in 13# & .024 in 12#.

I havent purchased the Sigma Sting and probably wont even though I hear nothing but great things, I think my next will be the Revolt Vengeance.

I actually really like both the Covert Revolt and Venom Shock. Both are great balls and I have found to be a great 1-2 punch....For a medium THS Id really recommend the Venom Shock....if its a bit more volume then the Covert Revolt...In my opinion, you can not go wrong with either ball....Im a long time Storm/Roto guy and can hoestly say these are two of the best balls Ive ever owned...

Love my Sigma Sting.  It's a great benchmark.  But don't overlook the Venom Shock or the new Forza if you're looking for a good medium-light or medium solid.

i would suggest getting the venom shock. like vkowalski i bought the covert revolt and venom shock.  they are a great 1-2 punch... you do need a little more oil for the revolt. for me i have found that the vemon shock is a great med house shoot ball. good luck.  and you can go wrong with motiv!
