Switching to motiv?
« on: April 13, 2017, 05:41:51 PM »
Currently have a decent storm set up but have really liked what I see coming out of motiv. Any pros or cons with switching?
In bag: Jackal Rising, Venom Shock, Tank Rampage

Want: Venom Shock Pearl and Villan (both will be ordered)

Retired: Storm 😔

If you already have a full bag of Storm, I can only see a con. That being having to buy all new equipment.

I honestly don't think it matters much which manufacturer you go with, they all make quality equipment these days.

And I throw almost all Motive, so take it for what it's worth.

Pro - new balls?
Con - money

I agree with Milo. If you don't really have a bunch of money burning holes in your pockets, I'd say just give 1 or 2 a try if you're interested

If the balls in your signature are your main 3, try a shock and carbon. They are different than what's in your bag and 2 pretty darn good balls.

I am not a staffer, and at one time tried to commit to one manufacturer. Then realized, I am not a staffer, why am I restricting myself to great balls on the market with this thinking? Unless you are on staff or get some benefit for brand loyalty, my suggestion is to get what you feel would benefit your game the most to improve your average and playing pleasure.
