Motiv Tag
« on: May 08, 2015, 06:15:05 PM »
Just got my first Motiv ball...The Tag. Balls I have are Black Widow Legend, Wrecker, Bad Ass, Deadly Aim, Manic, Terror etc... The Tag might be the best out of all of them. Ive used it on a heavy fresh house shot, a house that oils pretty light and I used it in a second shift league. The ball worked great on all of these conditions. I havnt used it on a sport shot yet. Once this ball hits friction it makes its move no matter the pattern. Its the best all around ball...very versitle. Will be looking at the Panic pretty soon.

I've only thrown my tag for 3 games so far, but like what I saw. Anxious to try it again. I adjusted the cover from it's NIB to 2000 grit. I want to try it at 2 more grits before deciding where to put it at. Going to try 4000 grit next. If all fail, I can go back to 2000 grit as I saw it will work well there.

big guy...its at 4000 oob with polish. The polish makes the surface 5000 laser scanned. I have about 15 games on it, still at box surface and it worked on everything...

I know what the "out of box surface is" ... It didn't work for me there, thus the reason I took polish off and sanded to 2000 grit and it worked there for me playing the outside line. Before this change, it didn't work anywhere for me.

I removed the polish and sanded to 2000 grit and it worked well and really smooth with great continuation off the spot. I want to see what it will do at 4000 grit and no polish next.

The wrecker is quicker off the friction...more of skid flip...The Tag is just strong and gets down the lane easier. I love the Wrecker and I use a lot of different brands (until one of them pay me). The main difference is the Wrecker can jump to soon, where the Tag gets down lane and make a strong move with a lot of energy.
