This time we had the opportunity to try the latest addition to the Tank series from Motiv: The Tank Yellowjacket.
This ball will be a great option on drier lane conditions and an excellent choice for the bowler who needs control at the breakpoint.
We tried the Tank Yellowjacket in our typical house shot and I really liked the motion of it. It took me a couple of shots to find the right line with this ball and in less than 10 minutes I finished shooting the review.
I got 8 strikes in 10 shots. The Tank Yellowjacket offers a lot of predictability, when you miss out the ball doesn't overreact thanks to the Friction Mark 5 coverstock, and when I missed in the ball offered enough hold to keep a straight line to the pocket.
I feel this ball will be a great option for bowlers who don't want to hook the whole lane and for those who want to keep the lane in front of you, this ball has a smooth, early and predictable motion.
For the competitive bowler, this ball will be a great choice when you need to bowl in high friction environments and you need to control the breakpoint.
Overall I feel this is a great addition to the Motiv lineup.
Thank you for watching!

I almost forget to mention that I have been having better results with a higher surface.
I changed the OOB surface to a 3000 pad and ball is money!
How is this ball has been working for y'all?

I enjoy the fact that it doesn't over react, like so many of the balls these days.
I am a lower speed player and this allows me to true up my angles, and play a simple down and in line.
