« on: September 12, 2018, 01:38:16 PM »
I was just curious what are some opinions on a ball down from a trident quest. I have my trident quest sanded doen by hand at 1000, pin slightly ab ok ve the ring finger. I usually can throw the ball the first 2 games of league great, but then xones the 3 game were i just cant find a line. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Ball down from a Trident Quest at a 1000 finish? Pretty much anything would be a ball down from that.

But in the current Motiv Line, I would go with the Rouge Blade or Venom Shock.

If you want to keep a similar shape I would go with a Lethal Paranoia or maybe a Rogue Blade...

Not sure if it's because I have put a good amount of games on my Quest (it still seems strong and I am very particular on maintenance), but I wouldn't call the Rogue Blade much of a step down. My Blade starts a little earlier and covers very similar boards as the Quest, and on house patterns I can strike with them both standing in the same spot and looking at the same spot.

I would recommend the Lethal Paranoia as a good step down, or Venom Shock Pearl to make sure the ball is weaker, and then tinker with surface to fine tune them.

Thanks for the advice, in my head i was thinking about the hydra, since it has the same cover. Well a stronger version of the  cover, but that miggt be stepping to far down
