Title: Motvi Line.....
Post by: Berreez on March 12, 2012, 10:14:53 AM
I just picked up my second Motiv ball, the Raptor Attack. I had it drill 45 x 5 5/8 x 40. This thing is a beast! My first games were on a local association tournament shot. Right out of the box 260, 236, and 224! I also have the Thrash. I struggled with the Thrash when I first got it. I wasn’t used to the tighter line. The drillings on that one is 60 x 4 ½ x 30 and it took me several games to find the line. I’ve also went with the Vise interchangeable thumb slug. I like the same feel from ball to ball, but it is a pain switching back and forth with the spare ball. I guess it will just take some time. Overall I’m happy with the Motvi balls.

Picking up my third ball this Saturday. I got the Recon RX1 for the dry lanes I run into from time to time. Having it drilled 70 x 5 x 50. Also having the Vise IT system put on it.

Silver or Orange?
I have a Sigma Tour. Great benchmark piece! Highly recommend it.

Silver. I once had a Storm Too Hot that had just about the same specs and it was a beast on drier lanes. I'm hoping the RX1 will be one also.

I absolutely LOVE my Recon Silver RX1! It's so smooth on the burnt up/drier lane conditions. It acts a little old school but hits just as hard as anything I have, you will not regret it. Very underrated ball, but it's at such a low price point that some people forget about it.
