I have two Mythics drilled. One pin up and the other pin down. I am surprised by how versatile this ball is. I bowl on surfaces that hook quite a bit. Usually, I start with the pin down Mythic. The cleaner cover gets through that front, but the layout and the big core controls the down lane motion. When the fronts really go, I just change to the pin up and open my angles up. I think it tells a lot about a ball when you can have one that locks up the pocket and one that can boom down lane. Typically bowling balls only allow you to do one or the other, not both. Overall, this ball is stronger than the Iron Forge, but not quite as strong as a Pride/Ghost.
