My son will be stoked. Although I just picked up a NIB original a couple weeks ago; he loves having it back in his bag. Gonna need to stock up.

Next they need to bring back the Sigma Tour, OG Covert Revolt, and OG Tribal if they want to get back out of the hole . . I'm not "throwing shade," just saying they've had a rough couple years here coming off making legit the best stuff on the market for a while 4-5 years ago.

Sad, but I agree. Throw in original Forza while they're at it. I've been pretty 'meh' on the last few. In fairness, my son really likes the Carbon. He says it gives him same reaction as the primal rage, only a step down.

Seems like every other ball right they're releasing right now is good, after several poor releases in a row there for a bit. Every other company is going for nostalgia wars too, it's just Motiv is young enough and really their great equipment is still young enough that everybody remembers it. Storm only went back a couple years for the Marvel Pearl, so I don't think this is a bad or cheap move by any means, I like it. I had 3 Primal Rages I think, one lefty and two righty. Everything they made for a solid two years a few years back was excellent.

I’m in a tough spot as I STILL have my original from many years back and still reacting as well as the first day I bought it. Hmmm 🤔.

Luke, this is a little off topic, but how did you like your lefty rage? I just dropped off my og Forza and rage to get plugged and drilled lefty, and any tips for drilling them lefty would be welcome.

Liked it quite a bit, I played straighter so I used stronger pins, but I generally don't mess with layouts much. Had a few I liked lefty and have a few I like righty.
Luke, this is a little off topic, but how did you like your lefty rage? I just dropped off my og Forza and rage to get plugged and drilled lefty, and any tips for drilling them lefty would be welcome.

Yes, we all liked the Primal Rage, but to bring it back for nostalgia purposes already (plus a new color for the Freestyle) lacks imagination. Maybe Motiv should just admit they screwed up and just put the Primal Rage back into full production and back on the ball chart.
I'm still waiting for the Primal Rage Remix replacement. Where's that?

Summer is usually the slowest months for ball sales. So most companies release new color low end balls and/or balls they expect to be niche balls. Last year, motiv released a Freestyle and new Tank. Both are still in the line up as niche pieces. The re-release of the red ball over the summer is smart. Minimal R & D and a ball that will be limited production so it can stay in the lineup until they are all sold... Motiv should have a new ball come August to gear up for the fall leagues.

I wish it was coming right now. My Spare+ got cracked in half by a gutter and rake arm and the center won't replace it so I need a new spare ball

A gutter AND a rake arm? How the...?
Ball hit the gutter bounced out and hit the rake arm. Don't know how. There was a chunk of ball on the rake arm which is how we know it hit that.
Worst part was that was only the 2nd 10 pin I had missed in 2+ months with that spare ball

True that lol. I will say that my sinister reacted a heck of a lot like a pearl. Close enough that I could include it in a list or pearls.

So from the description, medium oil midlane reaction with strong hook, it sounds like this ball may fall more in the middle of the ball guide, not the upper right side like the old one....does anyone know where it will be on the ball guide? Thanks

It probably won't show up on the ball guide. I don't think any of their other LE balls have. If it did, probably between the two Paranoias or the same as the Lethal.
