Title: Quick start with Tribal
Post by: Gizmo823 on April 04, 2014, 07:47:34 AM
I can see why everyone likes this ball so much, it's a house shot killer.  It glides through the fronts, but the cover is strong enough that it's always a crisp predictable turn on the back.  It's not sensitive, it's got a smooth, but really strong turn off the dry, and it's CONTINUOUS, which is what I was really hoping for.

I had a few issues drilling it, they sent me a 2" pin, not really happy about that, but it reacts fine.  I went 70x4.5x35, sideweight was ok, but I had way too much fingerweight to get rid of.  Drilled the ring finger to China, then took a smaller bit and went a bit deeper in the middle.  I was a blaster 7-10 in the 9th of the last game away from 800, had to settle for 30 strikes on the night and 782.  The funny part was that I was in an eliminator, 16 entries, cut 6, cut 6, final 4 all get paid.  Cruised the first round, but had to get the back 4 of the second game to move on, which made the cut 259, last game after the blaster 7-10, I ended up in the 240s and finished 4th.  Rough group.  Oh well, made a few bucks lol.  Off to Springfield this weekend, and judging by what I saw last night, I should have a ridiculous amount of room to work with as long as I stay left of everybody.

Great Bowling! That Tribal is a Great ball and it allows me to step down from the Redball and keep going.
That Fusion cover is a great cover. Really good stuff from Motiv right now. They are really offering a wide selection of reactions.
