QZ1 Red
« on: December 11, 2009, 08:52:57 AM »
Just drilled up a Red QZ1. Drilled it 65x4x35. OOB finish. For me that puts the pin next to the ring finger. Wanted it for broken down shots later in tournaments. Got a chance to use it this weekend. The pattern started out 42 ft and pretty flat. Scoring was low. I was able to bring out the QZ1 for game 4, playing 25 at the arrows floating the ball in the track area. It gave me exactly the reaction I was looking for. Nice hard arc to the pocket. Shot 238 the last game with a couple of shots that I just did not release clean. The ball still made the corner but would not carry. With the proper release it was ten in the pit each time.

Very impressed with the way this ball rolls for a mid priced ball. I will be looking at Motiv for my next purchase. Maybe Santa will help me out with an SR2 or a Purple QZ1.
