Power Gel Scuff = Magic!
« on: July 21, 2015, 06:35:47 AM »
I had lost some reaction on my Sigma Sting, she would turn the corner and not finish. I hit it with 1500 Siair pad and that helped some the other week.

Finally got some Power Gel Scuff, and after watching a non-finishing Sting in 1st game of practice, I applied the product, let it dry and wiped it off.

Ball came back to life! Touched it up with a little polish as it was a little early and bam!

So I also hit the Forza with it and noticed a better reaction. Will make sure I stock up on this on my next order.

This is a must have product.

The Power Gel Scuff and the Power Gel Clean are great products.  Not the biggest fan of the Power Gel Polish.  I have used a lot of each since my wife was on staff and the scuff and cleaner are great.

not a fan of Power Gel Clean at all. Most other cleaners do a much better job.

Power Gel Polish is great  if you want the lightest of shines; it probably has one of the least amounts of abrasive in it than most other polishes on the market.

Power Gel Scuff is pretty good stuff, almost as good as Valentino's Resurrection. They will provide a medium rough surface, in the 1500 - 2500 grit range, while doing some degree of oil removal. If you let them sit on the ball for a few minutes, they seem to draw a larger amount of oil from the surface of the ball.

I just recently bought some of the power gel clean and have to say I think it does a great job. I've used the storm foam and the powerhouse cleaner previously and think I prefer the Motiv Power gel over both of the others.

I do have all 3 of the Motiv cleaners, but this Power Gel Scuff is impressive.

I do like the Scuff as it works very well. The polish is just okay and I don't like the Power Gel clean product. There are much better ball cleaners available.

Try Valentino's Remedy or Vise Cleaner. You'll drop the others like a hot potato.

I guess I should rephrase it.  For me they were great considering we didn't have to give up much at all, if anything, for the products.  I will agree, there are better cleaners out there.  But cost-wise, we couldn't beat the Motiv product.

I wasn't trying to sell it or anything like that.  I try to be honest about Motiv stuff, regardless of our situation in the past with them.

I have the Power Gel Clean and Scuff and both are very good products by Motiv. I was not impressed at all with the Power Gel Polish, found it hard to get a nice polish with that whenever I used it.

Pro Series Simple Green MAX is cheap and the best bowling ball cleaner I have ever found.

I'm not talking the regular Simple Green you find at Home Depot. No, this stuff, made by the same company, is way better. When I get done using this cleaner, my ball is very tacky and rag has a lot of dirt and oil on it. You may have to order it online.

Plus, this stuff is safe for the environment.
Balls: Motiv Forza GT, Motiv Primal Rage Remix, Motiv Ascent Pearl and Motiv (On The Ball) spare ball.. All made in the USA.
