Rogue Blade - Strong & angular
« on: August 25, 2018, 01:18:20 PM »
Motiv’s newest release is the Rogue Blade and you are going to want to get on of these as soon as possible.  The Rogue Blade features the Sigma core, one of the most trusted and proven cores in the Motiv line.  The sigma core gives the Rogue Blade a low RG with a moderate differential helping you to control the mid lane.  The cover however is just off the charts excellent with the all new Hexion SE (Strength Enhanced) shell. This new cover builds upon the original angular Hexion with a much stronger footprint in the oil and still provides a faster response and angular motion down lane.  This medium oil ball is a perfect fit for your league shots, sports conditions and and over/under you may experience.  It’s important to note this ball take very well to surface changes too.  When polished this piece will be an incredibly fast response and when dull it is controllable and strong.  Pick one of these up at your local ProShop today!

Hi Guys,
I'm thinking about getting Rogue Blade, or the Forza SS, or the Villain, they all seem somewhat similar.

I need one of these at my house where on my Sunday night league the shot has carry down and oil on the pin deck...what would you suggest? Thanks
Now throwing pretty much all flavors...

Jake,

I have all three, and they are all drilled similar (though the Villain is assym so it's not completely accurate).

The SS is the earliest, the Villain is the strongest. The blade fits somewhere in the middle, hooking basically the same amount as the SS, but providing more downlane shape.

I'd probably recommend the Villain for your situation, but regardless, spotty conditions like that are always a mess, is there much head oil left? If you aren't careful you'll end up with balls transitioning too early no matter what and further compounding the issue on the backend of the lane.

Hello There,
Yes, usually there is a good amount of head oil and carry down for us righe's.
