Title: Sky Raptor Review
Post by: The SuperHitMan on November 17, 2022, 03:09:23 PM
Core: Afflictionâ„¢ V2 Symmetric
Type: Symmetrical
Coverstock: Propulsion Pearl Reactive
Box Finish: Dynamic Infusionâ„¢ Pearl Reactive

Layout: 80 x 2 ¼ x 30

Strengths
Sky Raptor provides a similar shape in terms of hook compared to Mythic Jackal, the difference being is the shape is symmetrical.
The continuous ball motion of Sky Raptor will prove useful on heavier patterns, I consider this ball motion more useful to that of skid flip on heavier patterns.
Length wise Sky Raptor is similar to Mythic Jackal but earlier to that of Iron Forge, DIV Infusion creates a lot of traction for a pearl coverstock which I found versatile for cover adjustments.

Weaknesses
I wasn’t too successful using Sky Raptor on extreme conditions where I would be using my Top Thrill.

Overall Summary
The combination of Dynamic Infusion and Affiliation core offers you traction and continuation, even on questionable shots off my hand the traction afforded me room for error playing the heavy end of the pattern.
In terms of shine options Sky Raptor is an earlier and stronger option compared to Mythic Jackal, Pride Empire and Iron Forge, not only is the traction visible in the oil Sky Raptor doesn’t violently ricochet existing the pattern.

Take your game sky diving with Sky Raptor.
Your game will thank you for it.
