“Supra Time."- That_Doctor
Supra
Core: High Impulseâ„¢
Coverstock: Infusionâ„¢ Pearl Reactive
Finish: 5500 Grit LSP
Layout 70 x 3/2 x 20

Supra (noun): 1. A ball created to push the limit of angularity. 2. The combination of the Impulse core and Infusion Pearl Reactive coverstock that provides ease of length with a pronounced response to friction at the end of the pattern. 3. Utilizes technology from Ripcord and Forge Fire Infusion Pearl Reactive cover is the first pearl version in this cover system, offering greater length and more angle.

Strengths

Supra is angular upon encountering friction down lane, if it’s a sharp move at you desire upon existing the pattern you’ll want Supra in your bag.

Infusion Pearl Reactive helps Supra clear the front part of the lane and wastes little energy getting to the breakpoint, saving everything it has for the back end.

As duller weaponry starts burning up and begins to struggle through the front of the lane, Supra will glide through heads and save its energy for a strong move down lane.

Weaknesses

Supra glassy cover stock provided too much length on the heavier oil. However taking it down with a 2000 grit pad gave Supra enough traction to get to the pocket, even still I feel there are better options to combat heavier oil than Supra.

Using Supra on fresh patterns I squared up right of target to save Infusion Pearl Reactive from over skidding in the oil and as the lane opened up down lane recovery was no issue, the more friction encountered the sharper the backend reaction. Should you feel that Supra is too clean for your liking or you find it pushing past the breakpoint, I would recommend using a green scotch brite or a 2000 abralon pad, Infusion Pearl will still retain muscle and roll over.  In the event Ripcord becomes too big for what I’m desiring I ball down to Supra because they both have a similar shape, the difference being Supra hooks less overall than Ripcord.  If you are looking for angularity, if you are a fan of angularity, or if you’ve ever wanted to experience a bowling ball that turns on a dime. Supra time.
Your game will thank you for it.

Thanks for the review.  Off topic but curious how Motiv can use the name Supra which I thought would be a Toyota trademark.  Remembered that car from the 1980s and lo and behold looks like they brought it back recently.

(edit:  Supra a latin word probably why.)

Two completely different market spaces. No one will confuse a bowling ball with a car.  ;D

Said the same thing about Apple Computer and Apple Records at one time too (yeah I know reaching).  Still completely irrelevant and this ball looks so sweet.  If didn't have a Hydra would be all over it.

(edit:  lol down the rabbit hole on this one, and now I know the rest of the story, trademark 101 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_moron_in_a_hurry).
