Sigma Sting vs Hell Raiser Terror
« on: April 11, 2014, 06:35:08 PM »
Wondering how these two compare. I love the motion I get from my dad's terror, and am looking to buy something with a similar motion for a bench mark ball. I know I have asked this question a few times for different balls to replace the terror, but I just haven't pulled the trigger. I will after my leagues end in a few weeks though.

The Sting is a symmetric ball with some pretty good backend while the Terror is an asym.
I put a couple hundred games on my terror and am still having success with it.  Why not just drill up a Terror if you are still able to find one?

Thinking about just calling my pro shop guy and seeing if he can find one. I am just worried that it will be close enough to my mastermind that it will create overlap, which is why I have been looking for something a little weaker overall. Right now I am throwing mastermind, outlaw, and a 300c pearl, and my stepdowns are pretty much perfect

Mastermind and terror are  like what night is to day. The total opposite. I would think they would be great compliments to each other but in no way will they overlap.

Would the terror be a good ball for between the mastermind and 300c pearl, or would the sting fit better? I almost never see enough oil to throw the mastermind now. The mastermind is just an OMG ball.

Wouldn't a mastermind genius fit into this gap?  For me it's much easier to ball down when you have the same core, and you are just changing one variable,  the cover.

Vivid, lucid worked well
Sync, byte (modified core) is my favorite duo
I remember...cell, cell pearl...

Try a genius!
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???
