The backend motion of the Primal Rage™ is the most angular ever from MOTIV™ – absolutely incredible! The easy length and vicious response to friction are only possible through new Fusion™ Pearl Reactive cover technology. Merging this new technology with the proven dual-density Impulse V2 core allows bowlers to play steeper angles and be more aggressive when the pattern starts to transition. And because it displays unbelievable continuation, The Primal Rage™ gives you the confidence to be firm with each shot.

That ball sure makes a move.
-
Justin, i dig your use of no bevel. Nice ball reaction as well.
-
No bevel? His fingers look like they hurt. Really? is that good?
Like the ball also!

No bevel = no grab. I must say bowling the Boot Hill there is a buzz about this ball.

I'm surprised they're able to steal Columbia's ball name from 97! lol

Since this has been done before, the use of a name from one company by another company, when the first has not used it in a long time, I doubt if there are legal issues involved, whether the name is copyrighted or trademarked.
So you can't really say they are stealing the name. They are using it, since Columbia is no longer doing so.
-
No dog in this fight, but Motiv did this recently besides the Primal Rage name when they used "Thrash" as that was a ball in the early 2000s from Track.
Only interesting note is that Motiv has used names from the old Columbia company (as Track was owned by Columbia until Ebonite purchased Columbia and the other brands in 2007).

I have been surprised to see this ball on the PBA broadcasts on both the longest pattern and also the shortest pattern.
Wish I could have picked up the drill patterns of the TV show balls. I could not see EJ Tackett's pin at all.
Also, have not carefully tried to study the two Wichita Staters on the long pattern.

I did see EJ's pin below the grip midline, closer to the thumb. No idea as to where the CG was.

Did you also see how fast he was throwing the Primal Rage??
If so, it was no surprise he was using it.
