The Motiv website has the ball exchange form up. They send the balls to your pro shop and not directly to the customer.

Is there a pro shop in your area? It doesn't matter where you bought the Jackal, it only matters where the exchange can/will take place.

that awkward moment when you drill your own stuff and never spoke to a pso in years, then you come in and say hey can turn in my jackaland get a new ball with my grips n slug. Oh I dont need you to drill it, i will drill it my self. :) ;D

What's to stop someone from using their own address for the Pro Shop information? If Motiv contacts you, just tell them you drill your own equipment and do not have a relationship with a local pro shop. You should be just as capable of drilling out the USBC logo on the Jackal/Carnage and sending the backup photo as would any dedicated consumer pro shop. Besides, there are a lot of PSO's that may have these balls for themselves that want replacements, so for Motiv to see a customer have the same address for both their home and Pro Shop shouldn't seem unusual.
Since you are only drilling your own ball, and it is less than 8 balls, wouldn't that also qualify you for an additional free ball as well under the exchange program? Would Motiv deny a home driller the bonus ball even if photographic proof is provided that the other ball had the USBC logo drilled out and the serial number matches the one submitted by the customer on the exchange form?

If folks start getting confirmation of their submissions or such, can you please post that info.
I signed up for the email updates, but never have received any. Kind of worried with what happens if we don't receive any email confirmations from Motiv on this.
I did check what I typed like 10 times to check for typos

Check your spam folder. I received a couple of different emails from them after signing up and all of them went into the spam folder instead of the inbox.

I just completed the form and requested the LE ball

I completed the form last night for my son. He wants the LE. His coach is doing the same. It's almost crazy not to, UNLESS it's your only ball and you desperately need a replacement pronto.

Seems like it'll be a bit painful for us in Norway.
Norway isn't under country.
The PSO I bought the ball at should have a pro shop in Sweden. But what should I write in the info about me? I live in Norway, and I probably shouldn't lie about my address and such on the form, since another person would get my ball then :P

My son opted for the Primal Rage Remix. I left it up to him.
He went back and forth multiple times.

I opted for a Revolt Havoc and the New Jackal LE(whenever it does arrive). It was pretty straight forward but I don't get the need for an email address for the Pro Shop, but not a phone number. My guys shop doesn't even have an email address so I had to use his personal email.

I've sent an e-mail to Motiv about it. Hopefully things will get straighted out.
I've only shared on pic of my arsenal, and none of the numbers have been in the pic of course.
Though I didn't take the box with me from the PSO, so maybe someone took the box and then used the serial number from the box. But the photo evidence needs to be of the ball and not the box, and the ball is here with me so :P

That could be the reason.
I sent them an e-mail with pics of my ball and number.
And I'm guessing the person who sent my number also sent a pic of his ball. Hope he gets it straightened out too.

I had the same issue last night. I emailed a pic of ball serial number explaining the form wouldn't validate my serial number. They were great in emailing me back today letting me know that they corrected the issue. I went in and submitted with no problems as they solved my issue. I'd hang tight and wait for a response.

I'm also running into the problem where it's saying my serial number has already been entered. Hopefully it's just a small bug in the system, I can imagine they've gotten a lot of forms filled out in the last couple of days.

My PSO is also running into the problem.
How big of a chance is it that so many people have actually written their number wrong? Seriously people, get glasses :P

I just filled out the information for a customer without any problems. I will receive the ball for him upon release of it. Hopefully it will not take to long.

I don't think the reason we get invalid number is because it's already registrered, I think it's actually something wrong with the form for some people.
Even my PSO gets invalid on the Jackal balls he has.

Got reply from Motiv now.
"Hello Thomas,
It looks like that number just hasn’t been uploaded to our database as of yet, so we will make sure that your serial number gets entered so you can submit the form successfully.
Thank you"
Gonna wait until the PSO replies back to me on FB. Need confirmation that I've entered everything about the pso correctly before I hit submit now.
So which ball should I go with then?
I'd love to have a limited edition ball in my bag.
But I'd also love to have a Paranoia or a Venom Cobra.

I'll go with the LE.
It'll be for heavy oil. Hopefully they'll go with a solid coverstock or hybrid.
The alleys I play at often won't return my balls, so my balls get lots of scratches and scuh, so getting a new heavy oil ball in the fall would be good probably.
And I'm sure the LE ball will look great.

They emailed me a response this morning suggesting the same thing and it went through without a problem. I guess that's what I get when I'm filling out a form when I should be in bed.

Form sent. Crossed out for the LE ball.
It's alright for me to have to wait until fall. New season, won't be bowling any league or tourny in the summer, just practicing.
