Title: The most angular asymmetric ball ever created by MOTIV
Post by: MotivSteve300 on March 16, 2020, 09:48:09 AM
The Trident Nemesis was designed to create lots of angle down lane.  This asymmetric ball wrap in the Infusion HV (high volume) pearl reactive cover stock will give you the shape you want on those higher volume oil patterns!  The Sidewinder weight block (asymmetrical) will also give you lots of drilling options too given the impending balance hole rule change in August 2020.  This is a good looking ball which really does the job of giving me traction in the oil, shape down the lane and powerful continuation through the pin deck.  It’s a must in my bag!!

Word on the street is they're (all manufacturers) developing that one now with the megatrak ultra hook (insert buzz word) cover with the new R&D core that's mega angular off the spot...........................while being super smooth and controllable.

Pre-order yours today!

They never work for the average Joe like they do for the staffers or in the videos. You need to decide for yourself if the ball is for you. Just look at past similar equipment you have owned and that should tell you.

I'm waiting for the one that doesn't even need a ball return. Just strikes, makes a U-turn and comes right back.

I own one and like it. I have had some decent scores with it. It's still just a bowling ball.

Milo, your the best man; We need some good comedy, and you provide it at the expense of these staffers.  Always have my popcorn ready for these staffer bias reviews.   Kept the comedy coming!! 🍿😆😆

I am not a one brand kind of guy at all. I currently own Hammer, Brunswick, Storm, Roto Grip,Radical, Ebonite, Track, AZO, PBS, Columbia, AMF, Global, whatever, you get the picture.

Other than the Venom Shock, I have yet to see a Motiv ball that creates a motion that I just have to have! They are all pretty much the same motion to me! Never have I seen a Motiv ball hit, and go...."Oh WOW! What was that? I have to have it!!

But....that's just me, I guess!

I respectfully disagree... You should try the Tank Blitz and compare it with a Supra, or maybe a Forge Fire with a Trident Nemesis? After releasing hit after hit around 2 or 3 years ago maybe they weren’t releasing the great balls they used to, but the last year they have been releasing amazing stuff. That’s just me.

Yup, it's just you. The rest of us deal with reality.

Call me a homer, but the Tank Blitz and the Supra are two balls i'd recommend people check out if looking at the Motiv Catalog.

The Blitz is absurdly early, but still continues well, it's very SPEC cover like in how early it is.

The Supra (likely thanks to it's rocket high RG) is close to flippy, which is NOT something Motiv has been good at, and as much as I do like my Nemesis, it's not the strong and angular big brother to the Supra it's marketed to be.

Hit harder? No. But I'm going to agree that the Blitz is as awesome as awesome gets. The Nemesis doesn't seem super angular compared to the Supra, but they're trying to zero in on the Storm reaction. They're getting closer, imo

I have my sources, and I'm getting motivated for a reason. Mama Doom didn't raise a fool lol.

With all the factors that involve knocking the pins down; Is it about HOW MUCH the bell hooks, or where/when it hooks to get to the pocket? More hook does NOT ALWAYS EQUATE better, plain and simple.

I don’t care if it’s Storm, Radical, or some other company, as long as I can get to the pocket, here’s reality 101.

I can't ignore the Tank Blitz any longer since most of my bowling is now sport shot league and tournaments. Definitely getting the Blitz soon and maybe a Forge Fire during the summer

The Supra is as angular and fast off the spot as any other ball available in the market, regardless if it’s a Storm, Roto, etc. It is by far the most angular ball Motiv has ever produced.

I like news tuff as much as any bowling enthusiast... I could just do without staffers who put no more than 5 minutes into their review using the majority of the post from the ball cover sheet. Tell me something objective I can't read on my own.

the blitz has been first ball out of the bag on 3 different sport conditions so far.  control is too good for a guy like me whose not extremely accurate haha

All of the buzz words are subjective. However, the way the ball goes thru the pins for a person is pretty clear. When you know how a core is going to get thru the pins, it becomes much easier to know what to do. I liked the way the Blitz rolled, but the recoil was meh. I got trapped with the Recoil on a house shot where the Blitz got me out of jail. Recoil would be really good on tougher stuff where you want to keep it in front of you, but Blitz is good as long as you have head oil.

So this begs the question, with the Desert Tank having the Thrill core but some version of Frixion, how much will it change THAT shape?
