Recently purchased the Cruel LE, my home alley recently went to a heavier pattern for the summer and I found the LE to be making a late move.  My pro shop took the ball down to 800 and now the ball seems to be burning up.   Going to hit it with some polish tonight to see if this helps.    Has anyone else tried different surfaces on their LE?  Any thoughts or comments are much appreciated.   thanks.

Mine needs more polish. The box finish appears rather dull and does not see enough oil to be effective. Very aggressive ball that needs oil.

From box finish to 800 was a pretty big jump in surface modification. It is 2000 wet sand + polish in OOB form. Probably should work your way down alittle at a time. Maybe try 2000 without polish than 1000 + polish than 1000 without polish, etc.......remember the underlying grit will have a effect on the balls performance even with polish over the top...
