It's OK for what it was designed to do. Motiv has other balls that are better in my opinion.

I love both of mine. My 33/4 inch pin to pap pin down at 4000 is a beast. They just roll very pure for me on the. It is my favorite and I love my shock and Vengeance. I have not thrown them on anything but ths. I also didn't throw either of them at box surface. My 43/4 inch pin up is at 500/4000 polish

Milo, as always with any ball it may have to do with the bowler of what the TAG was designed to do. In other words, match up for some as well as do more than it was designed to do others and maybe less for some bowlers. What I am leading to here is that I have been in discussion a few times recently with vkowalski1970 about his two TAG balls. The way he has drilled and surfaced one of his TAGs, it allows him to use it on medium oil with great results even though the ball is rated "light oil".

In my search for another ball under my Rage, I have a TAG ordered in hopes it will work for me. I was looking at the Panic and Shock for that position, but I feel their differentials are too low in 13# balls for my style to work, thus I chose to get a TAG which should arrive at my pro shop this week. Hopefully it will work with the way I am going to drill it as well as surface adjustment, but if it doesn't, well.... the Octane didn't work either so .... well you know how that goes .... lol  ::)  ;D

I agree. And I wasn't a fan of the Octane either.

I have one and like it. Best I have owned? Not even close for me.

I'm ordering two of these at some point this summer. Not bowling much in the summer, but would like to try it out before next season. All I know is that I was not able to throw much outside of 15 at the one house I bowl at. My comfort zone is outside of 10 - sometimes outside of 5. Only the arctic sniper gave me a predictable reaction out there.

I'm investing only in light oil balls for next season. I have a few already, but I have little need for the aggressive stuff. Probably getting another shock to go with the two tags. And definitely the rebel tank. Maybe another panic as well.
