Would like to hear what are some 3 ball favorites for your typical house shot.
I know just about any ball should be some what payable on THS with the right adjustments. If anything else good conversation.
Currently using a Venom Shock Pearl on lot and OG Forza on wooden lanes to blend the wet dry. Thinking about adding a Shock Solid or Recoil.

Pin down Code X - Pin down Idol Pro - Pin up Method with shine I B Left handed

On a THS on the light side so looking like the Morich Mojave just scored, Tag Cannon and spare ball. Darn shame Recoil was too much ball as really love pop on the end it gives me. Even my trusty Hy-Road is seeing more friction than is ideal.

I have two 3 ball bags. One for a THS with a heavier volume and less friction and one where there is a ton of friction with super clean backends.
For heavier THS:
Golden Jackal
Forge
Venom Recoil
For lighter THS:
Rogue Assassin
RipCord
Covert Tank
Thinking about giving the Golden Jackal some rest and let the Forge Fire take that place... ::)

Nice lineups. I have a Golden Jackal but haven't run across an oil pattern that I can use it on. I'm sure someone more speed dominate or at least matched would fair better.
-
Am I allowed to chime in??
Boost
Claw
Flux
-
Venom Recoil
VSP
Covert Tank
This is my bag for league. Recoil gives me a great look to start, VSP when the lanes break down, Covert Tank for spares and my "if all else fails" ball.
If i know the house has a little more oil, I'll go with something like this:
Forge
Ripcord
Covert Tank
(edit: I haven't tried out my Forge Fire yet. I am excited to see which ball it might replace in my league bag)
-
I'll put up what I would use based on the current line for the higher friction house shots I generally see.
Rogue Assassin or Venom Recoil
Hydra
Thrill
I've definitely followed Motiv the most after the Big B brands. Motiv seems to be trailing everyone else in terms of market share here in southern California.
-
So many factors and changes through the years but the typical house shot I run into feels like it has a higher degree of friction than ever before. Not that I'm complaining I never liked heavily walled shots.

You guys do realize that this is posted in the Motiv forum, not the Misc?

The OG Forza and VSP have a permanent spot with me anywhere I go if I'm loading a 3 ball bag.
Wish I could test the Forge Fire, Rouge Blade, and Venom Recoil to see where they fall. Of course there's the Shock solid which is seems to be a fan favorite.

The Forza is one of the best balls I've ever had. My old school arsenal used to be a Forza, Revolt Vengeance and a Venom Shock. If I had to pick between the ones you mentioned, I would definitely go with the Forge Fire, perfect step up from the Forza to move in and create more shape.

slap them with some wet newspaper and give it a go. Tip from someone on this site many years ago. I had 2 300's the same day with that as my last "grit".
