Title: To Justin and other Motiv experts: best tourney ball?
Post by: luvtobowl2 on January 21, 2011, 01:14:39 AM
Looking for a ball to be used on longer tournament conditions, Nationals and oilier patterns.  Really like what I have heard/seen from Motiv.  I prefer symmetrical cores as they seem to fit my game better.  Any layout suggestions would be great as well.  My specs are in profile.  Thanks in advance for all responses/suggestions.

Do you prefer an even read or more angularity?  How many balls are you looking to drill?

Justin,

Thanks for getting back to me on this request.  I prefer a little more smooth arc than a skid/flip reaction.  I'm assuming that would be a pin down drilling, but don't want it to start up too soon.  At this time, I am looking for just one ball.  I would like to see what I get out of it and how it fits to my game, feel, etc..  Thanks again for the response.

Do a Primal 55x50@4.25", P3 hole, 1k Abralon.

This will provide you a strong and smooth read on the heavier stuff, you could use 500 if you are seeing real soup.
