Title: Villian
Post by: Berreez on July 15, 2018, 07:51:34 PM
I’ve been a Motiv fan/user for years. I’m looking for a ball that I could use in the USBC tournament next year.

I was thinking of the Villain with a low flare drilling (90 x 2/14 x 40).

Would something like this work for me?

I’m a left handed bowler and here are my stats:

PAP   4  7/16   5/16  Up
Revs    14
RPM'S   336
Time to Pins Avg   2.51
Speed MPH   16.5
Tilt   11.5
Tilt in Degress   13*
Axis Rotation   75*

Thanks

Based on my experience the past couple of years, the Villian would be a decent option to start with on doubles. By the time you get to singles, you will probably need less ball.

As for team, I think it's too much ball.

So in the Motiv line which ball would you suggest and the drilling?

I'm not the person to give advice on drilling. My best look in doubles and singles was with the Forza GT.

Team seemed to be about 35 or 36 feet with a very tight line. Very little area to the right and almost zero hold to the left. I wanted my Venom Shock, but it wasn't available. I should have used my Venom Cobra but didn't make a good decision at the time.

Motiv will have an almost completely new line up by the time the Open rolls around again, so I would advise holding off on what to buy.
