Arlington Lane's 1st Annaul SCRATCH Tournament!!
***WHEN***
Saturday, July 24th. 12pm check in --- 1pm start
There have been NO SIGN UPS YET!!!
The following finishes are GUARANTEED!!!
1st $1000
2nd $500
3rd $250
***LOCATION***
Arlington Lanes
3435 N. Kennicott Ave.
Arlington Heights, IL, 60004
***ENTRY FEE***
$40 before July 24th.......................$32 Prize Fund
$45 day of tournament................... $8 Expense
...........................................................$40 Total
***FORMAT***
Bowlers will complete a 3 game qualifier. Upon completion, the top 20% of the field (based on 100 bowlers) will cash and advance to the semi-finals. The semi-finals will consist of an additional 2 games, upon which a 5 bowler stepladder final will be seeded based on the 2 game total pinfall. The top 3 finishes will be guaranteed, all other finishes will be pro-rated based on the number of entries.

---> Go to Arlington Lanes and fill out a flyer
---> If you bowl in the Chicagoland area, give me your center name and address, and I'll drop flyers off at your center
---> Email me at ArlingtonOpen@gmail.com and I'll mail you flyers
---> Completed flyers with fees need to be mailed or dropped off at Arlington Lanes

I have not paid yet but I am 100% sure I am bowling barring any unforeseen emergency, i.e. death. Its still a little early yet for most people.

I am not seeing in the flyer of what lane condition is going to be used. Will it be a sport pattern/modified sport pattern or will it be a house shot. I'm hoping it will be some kind of a sport pattern. If it is a sport pattern, I may considerate it.

I'm sorry nothing was mentioned about the pattern. Although the tournament won't get into specifics, the shot WILL be sport compliant, as to deter a carry fest. Should be a matter of keeping the ball in play and optimal spare shooting

There will definitely be Brackets and some side pots, all pots are optional and offer a chance to make some money back if you miss the 3 game cut.

I understand you dont want to give away the pattern, but can you narrow the selection down? Such as, its one of the animal patterns or its one of the long patterns?

Sure without going into specifics, the patterns is around 40' feet and reverse blocked. Inside shots will jump, outside shots will hang, you NEED to hit your mark and make your spares
