Was checking to see anyone in the state had already bowled in Indy? I saw the oil patterns online and noticed that there's less volume of oil for singles/double and wondering if the pattern will break down pretty quick. I'm planning to being there next weekend.

I bowled it and didn't do well. Doubles and singles had oil! Dont worry about that, I still used my sinister to end game 6 with a near 240-something game.
The best I can tell you is that the bowler who reads the transition best will win, move inside when u think you're ready. The tight inside line will win it for sure. Some played the 5 board...one of our guys had the first 300 of the tournament playing the out of bounds and making his own line...
I was able to play the track area for about the first game each day. Then you gotta make a big move inside and stay soft and dont swing it. Out of bounds is around the 7 board to the gutter. 10-8 at the breakpoint 'dark' board is money.
I shot a terrible 1830 All events. Hyroad solid for team...and went through everything for doubles and singles...sinister rolled best for that day.

Thank you for the input, billdozer. Which event was the most difficult for you to read the transition? I'm pretty down a down and in bowler that likes to play 12 to 7 at the breakpoint. Planning on to bring all my stuff with me (716T, Mean Machine, 505T, Power Machine and RX1 Recon Pearl)

During team event, the lanes seemed like they were wide open for play. I was actually able to play pretty deep left and keep a consistent reaction with my shot.
Singles and Doubles were a different story. Definitely had to play pretty tight. It may have been less volume of oil, but the pattern seem to me to be much flatter. Singles I did terrible, leaving 6 splits. By the time we started doubles, the shot opened up a bit more.

Way more open during team, tighter during doubles and singles. Just as Brian was stating.
Team I could I play my 'A' game, doubles and singles was very difficult!

I talked to someone in my league the other day that bowled in it a few weeks ago and he basically said that exact same thing about both days. Just need to play straight, hit the 7-8 board at the breakpoint and watch for the transition.
