I bombed the tournament hardcore, slightly heavier oiled house pattern shot but I could not do anything right all day long. All my strikes were when I did something right, the opens and spares are the result of many factors. Bottom line, I absolutely sucked Saturday and I have no other excuses about it.

I was dead last in saturdays standings and I was at -193 for the day. Time to go work on my game more!

Top 48 regular bowlers, top 12 seniors, top 12 ladies come back for second round of qualifying. Top 16 regular, top 4 seniors, top 4 ladies make TV show to be taped in January, airing in February.

My +141 for 6 snuck me into the top 48, cut was +137.

Rob,
Nice bowling.
Good luck in your match.
One bit of advice.
Try and see if you can practice on the other side of the house while they are taping the match before you.
Sometimes they'll let you.
Figure they've got to be taping it this coming weekend right?

If it doesn't have DT or RG stamped on it.
Just leave it in the bag.

Thanks Mike. 300 game 2 really helped.
Tape on Jan 20th. This is my 3rd time making it, but my other 2 I taped Friday night and they didn't have any lanes on the other side. Hope to get a couple shots in to loosen up before hand. Still looking for that first win on TV....

I know the one year I made it they wouldn't let me loosen up on the other side.
I still won my 1st match that way but the second time I could have used more warm up shots.
That and driving thru a snowstorm didn't help my cause!!!!

Didn't see this......good luck Rob!  Kick their butts!!!!  Love to see you on TV.  When I lived in Waterloo I got it as it's in Jefferson Charter.com but in Madison no go.

Thanks for all the good wishes everyone, if nothing else I'm due!!!
Scott, do I know you? I know bass from the old Tri-County scratch tour, but you don't sound familiar...I bowl some MAST tourneys in Madison so we may have met sometime, if you hit any of those.

I've bowled MAST in the past Rob.  Do some AlL Bowling Toes in Milw. area just for a different lane condition.  I've seen you bowl.  Wish you good luck at Burlington.

Glad to hear you'll be back Mike.
Scott, couldn't agree with you more about Merrill Draper - though I might be a little biased. Guy and his family just know how to do things right as proprietors. Thanks for the good wishes, next time you see me around come up and say hi - I'll be sure to get you a beer!

Gotta bump this up as the TV shows are airing on PAX-TV in southeastern WI starting this Saturday. You can go to www.towneandcountrylanes.com - go to the all-star tab to see the pairings and broadcast schedule.
