I'll be there on the 16th at noon, but I didn't know there were still openings for that time.  Good thing Duke has the scoop.  Thanks Duke!  I don't live far from there so once this freaking snow ends maybe I'll go over and check it out.  Maybe man`ana.

Rich (duke harding)and I will be there on the 16th at noon.  We shot the tourney last week and it was a lot of fun.  We were on the same pair as Tony Lacaz and a buddy of his(not sure if anyone knows him but Tony's a VERY good bowler.  His buddy is a pretty dam good bowler as well!  They pretty much crushed everyone in the brackets!

Cool.  Yes, I was looking at the score sheet for 2007 & Tony LaCaze was right up there.  2nd place I think & some other high score payout.

From what I understand, Tony has won this tourney a couple times.  He goes to every squad during the entire tourney.  So if your going to get into brackets then he's the guy your going to be up against eventually.  He get's into all the brackets!  Everyone of them!  This guy probably makes about 600 every squad, every week!  He's very good and this is a no tap so you basically need to shoot close to 300 to have a chance to beat him.

This tourney should be called the Tony Lacaz no tap! lol

If your into playing brackets he's the guy!  This year he brought a buddy of his and he's a very good bowler as well.  There both really high rev bowlers and are very accurate!  So bring your A-game if anyone plans on shooting the elgin no tap!

Well, I'll bring my B & C game cuz I don't have an A game, LOL.  I've been struggling most of the year.  I'm doing the tourney because my captain thought it'd be fun for the whole team to bowl together.  He's a pretty good bowler & for a 9 pin no tap, he & our anchor man are also good bets for 300s.  Should be fun.  You never know, I could find it on that one particular day.  I think there are plenty of openings also.  I misunderstood my Captain when he said our squad was full, but not the whole time slot, lol.  Maybe I'll see you guys up there.

chi,
You gave him a run for his money.
Keep the ball away from your ankle?
ONe frame cost you a few hundred?

Rich I had him that game.  Had a 20 pin lead and was matching him strike for strike.  There were only 4 frames left and smacking my ankle with the ball causing a gutter while working on a double killed me.  I lost by 9 pins!  I won't do that again!  I will also make sure I keep up with the adjustments!

Well besides almost not getting there on time The wife and I had a great time.  Bowled really well the first block just should have changed balls sooner and did OK in brackets.  Second set thought I had a handle on things but just couldn't put it all together.  Still won my money back in brackets and wife went + on brackets.  I want to make next weekends squads but will see.
