Thats just it. They didnt oil every shift, and unfortunately I bowled on the shifts that werent oiled. I brought all balls that were drilled to go long, including a few Rico drilled balls. Of the 20 or so bowlers, we had 1 or 2 bowl "decent" because they could fire the ball a hundred miles per hour...not to mention I only got 2 shadow balls...lol

quote:
Better get a better ball driller, I wasnt having any trouble getting my stuff down the lane even though it was dry but you must have balls drilled for it. Most ball drillers will not drill you something to get this far down the lane ans still make the corner because they will go really straight on house shots. If you ever get in this situation again feel free to shoot me a email or call me I can help.

yes the lanes were pretty dry and D A M N hot... was some what hard to swing it as the heads went away 4-6 frames in the first game.

i watched solid9 throw a cell pearl with a funky drilling and shot 700+ on the 2nd shift.. he was playing the middle part of the lane, not alot of swing... just had the RIGHT ball with the RIGHT DRILLING!!!!

Like I said, there are drillings out there that get down the lane on everything.  I work with some senior PBA tour guys that have the same trouble we had up there and we have some drillings Ill bet you have never seen or heard of.  I dont care if your a ball driller or not, we can all learn from each other, and learn something new everyday.  Until I found these drillings i thought I had the longest setups too, but I didnt.

solid I would love to know the secret for my partner and I do okay we are in second in doubles but it was very hard for me and my partner had no trouble with a ball to go long and he used a C-System drilled to go very long and he is third in singles. We bowl on a old house with wood and very dry and not taken care of.  I also agree we can all learn from one another. thank you if you have any help for my house please email me at freealast08@yahoo.com
