I don't mean this offensive in anyway. I saw alot of middle aged people using the Nano while I was there. The ball gave most an okay look but left a lot 10 pins. Most of the guys using the stronger balls looked to me like they were playing up five or really up 13 with just a little hook at the end. I am a tweener and was able to play 20 out to 5 with a Hyroad at about 16 mph. There is a shot to be played from all angles it seemed to me depending on skill level. I bowled with a kid from Springfield, Illinois who shot 700 in all three event and he was using an old beat up Black Widow and lofting it 25 feet down the lane and slamming pins. Hope it helps a little. Good luck to all.

LMFAO!! i know that kid... scott marshall.. lil dude with glasses.
and yes he lofts the ball PAST the arrows!! not a bad bowler, just a very very odd style...
the way he tracks the ball helps him alot in houses where carry is tough...
he had back to back 300's this yr...

It doesnt matter whether they were throwing a Nano or Plastic ball....if the Nano's were drilled pin up and negative, like my Freeze is drilled up for State, then it wont hook.....

depends on your rev rate also.... pretty sure a nano drilled negative, sideways or even doggy style is still gona have some movement.. lolol the cover and core, dont get much stronger....

i bowl league there, i play the track area and ave 229. 1 hint ill give, you have to swing the ball a little to carry consistantly. i start board left of center with my feet, 13 at the arrows out to 7 at the break point & i usually score pretty well.

Park Side Lanes in Aurora.
And from what I am reading there is more oil their than down state.
It seemed to be a longer oil shot but it will dry up pretty quick and then you start chasing the shot.

Bowled yesterday and today at Pekin. The shot is not bad, just SHORT. Once it comes off the back of the pattern it is turning. Good luck to everyone still to go.

Thanks brunswick for moving bowling ball manufacturing to Mexico.
Now using 900 Global & AMF equipment, scoring higher than when I was using brunswick plus it's manufactured in America by Americans.

Bowled Parkside lanes today and watched Sean Rash start the day off with the first 20 strikes. So I pretty much donated all my bracket money to him. The guy was simply amazing. Looked like he was throwing a storm virtual energy and ripping the cover off of it. I Thought he was a brunswick guy????

He was probably using the pearl Karma. I saw him practicing with it at Parkside a couple of weeks ago. He said he has been using Karmas almost exclusively lately.

Parkside is my home house when I am not at college. Higher rev rate players that can usually get in and swing the lane tend to score a bit higher (my own opinion). There are normally multiple lines to the pocket. I have practiced playing just about all parts of the lane there and have had success just about everywhere. For those who havent bowled there yet I would recommend playing in 3 different areas depending on your game. 7 to 5, 14 to 9 or possibly 20-12. The lanes are pro-anvil and are very well kept. Hope this helps some of you out there.
