Article on Irving Park Lanes in Chicago

Irving is NOT closing.

Jack Neitzel is keep the 16 lane center open.
Jack said " Not one dollar has changed hands. Nothing has been signed. It will be a bowling alley as long as I'm still alive."

Some developers brought plans to the city, and started prcoeedings, thinking they'd have no trouble buying the property. A local paper picked it up, and put it on their front page.

I had stopped in to practice, and the manager was on the phone all day fielding phone calls.

Sweet.  I hadn't heard that rumor.  There aren't many places left in the city, it would be a shame if Irving closed down.
