Title: Minnesota State Tournament
Post by: ImBackInTheGame on February 08, 2012, 12:58:04 AM
It starts this weekend and I'll be bowling in it for the first time.  For those that have competed in the MN State tournament in past years, what type of shot can be expected?  (THS, Red/white/blue, sport?)  I guess State was held at the same place (southtown) back in 2008.  Scoring looked pretty high, so I'm assuming it's nothing too difficult.

I'll do my best to report back on my experience after this weekend in case it might help anyone.  Right now I'm struggling on which 3 balls to bring (my bag only holds 3) and there won't be room in the car for additional balls.

Southtown always plays the same way, stand left, throw right.  Don't know for sure but I suspect it will be your basic house shot as it has been in the past for the Minneapolis City and past State tournaments...
