Has carl really closed up shop for good?  I thought he was just taking the summer off.  If he wasn't making a good living then it was partly his fault he charged way to little if you ask me.  I appriciated it but not if it means he had to get out of the buisness.

Brunswick,Lane#1,Morich,Hammer,Ebonite,Columbia,AMF,Storm,RotoGrip......they all leave ten pins, I swear after I try dynothane and lanemaster if the ten pins still there I might begin to think it might just be
me...... (finally decided to add a signature)

Just talked to him a couple of weeks ago. He finished drilling up the "ball league" balls.
I bowled with Carl for quite some time...He never charged enough. I'd normally give him more than he asked for...As he told me, he was "too nice".

He really was, I thought at first he was giving me deals becasue of where I worked and then later becasue I was a college student, but thewas waitig for some work to be done in his shop a couple years ago and saw that he charged almost everyone nothing.  Its a shame I really liked going to him even not counting his low prices.

Good friend, I bowled with a him quite a bit. Tough bowler.
Shot 30+ 800s (with plastic, pre-reson), countless 300s. Great hand-eye coordination.

Maybe your thumb and fingers are too small?
