Shootout at the Fort
« on: June 05, 2005, 12:31:48 PM »
We bowled this weekend and I pretty much shot myself in the foot by shooting 136 4 splits.  my first game but then coming back with a 205, 244, 193,170 I missed the cut by a little.  A squad cut with 63 bowlers for the first 5 games was -10.  B Squad had 73 bowlers and the cut was +23 I believe.  This is all from memory.  A squad took 31 bowlers.  Then after both squads bowled their 5 games came back and bowled 2 more and cut went to +41 for A squad and made it to +41 to guarantee cash and bowl on sunday.  B Squad cut after 7 was I believe around +73.  Sunday qualifiers made a guaranteed 300.00.  They had 44 bowlers that made it on sunday with including the 8 rebuy entries that made it.  They took the top 24 after 2 games to continue and the cut was -8 and the cut was +8.  We had a great time and the shot was very tough.  PIN ACTION... Yeah right.  Heavy pins and tough oil made a great shot.   The calcutta Auction this year I beleive raised over 7-10 thousand dollars.  They paid 16 spots with 12-16th getting 400.00.

Hey don't feel lonely. I also figured out the shot to late myself. I bowled B squad and the rebuy. I missed the rebuy cut by 21 could not put a good game together. Shot 226,211,205 cut was 673. It is a great tourney and I will go back next year. Shot was tough but fair. Sorry I missed you Derik.
