Some advise about getting into leagues
« on: March 04, 2008, 03:48:16 AM »
I am in Wisconsin and bowl in 1 league right now. I want to bowl in more leagues but I don't know anyone and was wondering how one would go about getting into more leagues. Should I call the bowling centers and ask or anything else you guys can think about.

Suggestion:  leave you name with the desk manager who handles league scheduling and he/she will pass your name to the league president/coordinator.  Secondly, show up the night league starts

at our place we have sheets that has all the upcoming legues and other boards and stuff posting this info. Usually if you want to bowl in a legue you need a team but if not, lots of times when you go to the league meeting there are teams thats short a person and you can play with them. That was the case for our PBA league, we had to pick up one guy and glad we did cause hes pretty good.
