$40.00 Pre-Paid Entry Fee
(Due by Midnight, February 2, 2007 - $50.00 if paid after this)
Limited to the First 100 Paid Entries

41-FOOT SPORT BOWLING OIL PATTERN

Bowl 4 Games across 8 Lanes
Then Cut to the Top 8 bowlers for Match Play
9:30AM Check-In

Payout Ratio: Pays 1 in 4

Open to all men & women bowlers

Entries are on a first paid basis

Handicap is based on 80% of 220 with a MAXIMUM number of 25 pins per game

Use highest 2005-2006 final average based on 21 or more games

If no last years average, use current average of 21 games or more as of December 31, 2006

If this years average is 10 pins or more over last years, use current average as of December 31, 2006

If no average, bowl scratch

This will be a non-sanctioned event with all USBC rules applying

Post by: Blackhawk on January 10, 2007, 06:03:30 AM: Not really any suggestions so far. Back ends hook a little more on this pattern, but it plays very similar. You should do fine. Just remember that the shot can change fast and does have some strange trasitions at times. Normal to slick then to pattern breakdown. At least that is my experience with it.

That helps me to have everything prepared for the event and makes check-in much easier.

Thanks for making the effort to bring more people down. I love getting new people involved in this tournament and of course into the center to see what we have to offer.

Post by: 102101 on February 05, 2007, 11:21:34 AM: Sorry I couldn't make it Blackhawk from what I heard some snot nose kid won first place but the good news is at least I got my furnace going this morning. One ignitor, 55 bucks and 1/2 hour of my time and she is as good as new but what should I expect from a furnace that is 3 & 1/2 years old. Sounds like all had a great time from what I heard.

I was consistent with only 2 mental breakdowns I think I should have done better. The guys I went with said they would go again and if my wife isn't bowling already I would have brought her. Thanks again great tournemant lets remember the drink tickets next time huh. I will try to make the valentines day tournemant.

The young snot nose kid that won was our youngest son so kind of have to rub it into him a little bit that he was lucky I wasn't there. Me -> We will be back from our cruise the day before the Valentines tournament but we are planning on bowling in it also, as long as I don't get to bad of a sunburn. Hope to see you there and if you and your wife don't have anyone else coming down or even if you do and want to bowl on the same pair send a message and I'll ask Blackhawk and see if he will arrange it

Post by: Blackhawk on February 08, 2007, 07:48:02 AM: I would absolutely recommend that. Let's just say when we ran a similar tournament for Halloween, there were very few that walked out dry. Bud Light is the sponsor and they have a tendency to get everyone drinking well.
