Memorial Day Classic discussion
« on: October 23, 2010, 07:53:06 AM »
Hi everyone, I am looking to restart the Memorial Day Classic at Colony Park Lanes North. It was called the Hammer Challenge or Memorial Weekend Open at one time at the center. I would like to have feedback what time format, entry fee amounts, Top prize, and lane conditions-ie: KEGEL patterns from Europe, USA, or Japan. Looking to do squads on Friday night, Saturday, Sunday, and Memorial Day. Here is what I got so far from some local people:
$60 entry fee
$3,000.00 top prize based on 200 total entries.
$12.00 for lineage, $3 expenses, and $45.00 prize fund.
6 games across 6 pair of lanes using at (1835) KEGEL pattern or a (2241) KEGEL pattern.
Running Brackets, high game pots, and the 2nd best part: if a squad has 30 bowlers in it, someone from the squad would win a free Roto Grip or Storm ball. (if they go along with the sponsor deal).
BEST PART*** Pay the highest finishing lady a certain amount and the highest game by a female a certain amount of money... ****
Let me know what you all think...
