Looking for bowlers to join a growing scratch trios league bowling on sport conditions. The Monday Night Trios Challenge league has 11 confirmed teams for this fall. We would like to field an even 12 teams. If there are enough bowlers interested in joining, lanes are available for more than 12 teams.
The league bowls on Monday nights (as the name suggests) with practice beginning at 6:38 pm and scoring beginning at 6:45 pm at Trindle Bowl in Mechanicsburg, PA. A match point system is used with the potential for each team to earn 17 points per night. All levels of bowlers participate and are welcome. Bowlers range from entry level to PBA Regional players.
The league is scheduled to begin on September 8, 2014. Our season is 30 weeks long (two 15 week halves). There is no bowling the weeks of Christmas and New Year's Day. Each team receives a cash payout based on standings at the end of each half. Points are reset to zero to start the 2nd half.
Six different sport certified patterns will be used. Each pattern will be used for 5 consecutive weeks with a position round on the fifth week.
This is the only fall season sport certified bowling league in the area. This is your opportunity to challenge yourself and improve your game. If you are an interested individual or have a full team, please reply to this post or message me.
