Heres some info on an upcoming tournament at the Carlisle, PA Eagles.

Tournament #1 of 16
Entry fee is 30.00
Re-entry is 25.00
First Squad starts at 10 A.M., Second squad starts at 12 P.M. or when the first squad is finished.  Match play starts when both squads are done. (2:30). Each Squad is limited to 40 bowlers max. We have a points scale for the 16 tourneys.  Top 10 at the end of the season qualify for the Carlisle Invitational. First and Second from each of the 3 Majors also qualify.
 
FORMAT:  Bowlers in either squad will bowl 3 games to try and qualify for single elimination match play.  Bowlers may bowl in both squads if they wish, using the higher of two squads.   After both squads are completed, we will tally up the scores and then begin single elimination match play.  Match play should take about 1 hr 30 min
 
With 48 Entries or more, the Top 16 bowlers will advance to match play.
With anything less than 48 Entries, the Top 8 bowlers will advance.
 
The top third of all entries will cash
Bowlers receive double points for this tourn.(MAJORS=DBL PTS)
Payout based on 48 entries
    1st-$250.00 Qualify for CI tourney                   5th---8th-$50.00
2nd-125.00 Qualify for CI tourney                     9th---16th-$30.00
   3rd&4th-$75.00
 
      High Game and Brackets will be available
This is a Non-Sanctioned Tournament

Theres not really anything that big that I can think of besides Leisure Lanes 10 game marathon on Super Bowl Sunday. I think that ones $1000 gauranteed first. All the other tournaments pay around $200-300 first.
