Chief Whistler
« on: March 10, 2009, 06:49:22 AM »

As the Susquehanna River Tribe was gathered for feast
at high noon today, Vinnie ChopSteaks talk of his
WWE DVDs he has been watching.  He brought up a name
from the past in Chief Jay Stongbow.  This led to a
Tribal conversation of how Chiefs have an affect on
people.  Vinnie says, "Chief Jay Strongbow was great
Wrestler and pave way for his tag team partner of
Billy White Wolf.  They were good to watch and they
kicked butt!!"  Chief Whistler talk of his idol,
"The Chief, Brian Himmler."  Old Louie White Hair I
guess was trying to be funny in slow tongue when he
say in Baseball, "Chief Noc a Homa was entertaining!"
For me I guess it was in Hockey, The Chief, Craig
Berube.  He would drop you like a wet paper bag if you
messed with him.  My all time favorite Hanson Brothers
of the movie Slap Shot played for the one and only
Johnstown Chiefs. Funny stuff!!  I guess all in all
for the most part we the Tribe has agreed on is that
many Chiefs have touched the lives of this Great American
Land. Sing it with me,...This Land is your Land, This
Land is my Land.... Alright back to the Chiefs, the
Tribe strongly agree that Chief Whistler in his travels
has touched so many people it is not countable.  I know
your saying I never met Chief Whistler, well in some ways
more than others you already have met him.  Everytime one
of your friends or someone you've never met says something
and you stop to think about what they just said and say,
"WTF did they just say?" You've just shared the Wisdom of
Chief Whistler.  Chief's wisdom is greater than his
knowledge, this is what makes him wiser than all around us.
He has even touched Famous people like Bill Engvall.  You
know the skits where Bill says, "Here's your sign!"  He
met Chief Whistler, and that is where the skit came from.
If I remember the story right, Bill was walking into Don Carter
Lanes with his bowling bag and Chief Whistler asked him if he
was going bowling?  Bill looked at Chief and said, "Nope, I just
have these to get out of the house."  "Here's your sign."  The
Tribe has listed a few of the memorable quotes from our own
Chief Whistler.

1.  Even the smartest people can't predict the future.
2.  I'll be there in a minute, give me a second.
3.  Wow, those are two dissimilar parts.
4.  Boy, that sun is hot!!
5.  We usually always have them in stock for the most part.
6.  I'm not sure how he gets away with it, but that's probably
how he gets away with it.

Well, these are some of our favorite wisdom droppers from
the Chief.  If you have any that you feel have come from
crossings with Chief Whistler, please post them for all to
read.

Peace out Wisdom Catchers

I like phone messages that say "leave a brief, detailed message at the tone".

Chief Number of the Beast,

The Tribe thank you for your reply.  That is classic, perhaps
you have called Chief Whistler at home on his phone at home
by mistake.

Peace out Beast Master

That order is not going today. Their credit card was declined. They must be having financial problems with money!

I was once told, "that tire is only flat on one side."  This is very wise and must have been originally said by Chief Whistler.

Chief one who Drills Direct,

Yes indeed, that was a very wise statement and no doubt Chief
Whistler at one time or another sometime said something exactly
similar.  The River Tribe thanks you for your support.

Peace out Drill King

Susqehanna River Tribe hear these words day before
yesterday.

"Usually for the most part sometimes I only get wet
outside when it rains."

I once heard a large bear say "Where there is smoke, there is fire."  He must have heard this from Chief Whistler.

Chief one who Drills Direct,

I am now reminded of another Berra by the name of Yogi who
the River Tribe believe to be close distant cousin of our
own Chief Whistler.  We asked Chief at one time if he was
related and he say, "No we are not related, he's not even
in my family."  Well, you can't argue with that! So, I guess
if you close your eyes shut, you would not be able to tell
the exact differences from one another.  In the words of
Yogi, "you can observe a lot just by watching."

Peace out Drill King

Here is another nugget of wisdom that had to be from Chief Whistler orginially:  "Cut that pizza into 4 slices.  No way could I eat 8!"

Words of wisdom flow down River to Tribe.

"I think I'll ship this tomorrow, but this isn't
accurate at this time."

Old Louie White Hair and Chief Whistler were out of state visiting
and past a Newly Finished Housing Development that had been farm
land the last time they past that area.  Old Louie White Hair
shaking his head and speaking in his slow tongue describe
conversation to me...

(Old Louie White Hair) "Wow, those are some Big New Homes."
(Chief Whistler) "What? Those homes aren't new, they just weren't
here the last time we drove by."
