 February 27, 2011



 1st Place Guaranteed $2,000


 


 Entry Fee: $70 (Last cash is double your entry fee!)



 Cash Ration: 1:6



 2 Squad Tournament - You MUST pre-pay a $10 deposit to guarantee a spot on your desired squad! B Squad usually sells out early!!!



 A Squad: 9:00am, B Squad: 11:30am



 Early Bird Special - All Bowlers on A Squad will be entered to win one of 3 free entries for the 2012 Holy Family Manor Scratch Tournament



 Re-Entry Bonus - High 8 Game Total $150.00, 2nd High 8 Game Total $50



 


 


Tournament Format: All bowlers will bowl 4 games across 8 lanes in the qualifying rounds. After the completion of both qualifying squads, 1:6 bowlers will cash and move on to the Semi-finals. Semi-finalists will bowl an additonal 2 games, ALL pins carry forward. After the completion of the semi-finals, the Top 5 bowlers will bowl a step-ladder final. The finals will be televised by Service Electric Cable TV Super 2 Sports.



 No PBA Bowlers that have bowled 3 or more National Stops, including Men and Women 



No Checks The Day of Tournament!!!



 Advance reservations will be accepted. A $10 deposit is required to hold a spot.

Not sure on the pattern. I am posting this for the tournament director. He usually does not give out the pattern that is being used. IT WON'T BE A HOUSE SHOT!!! I can tell you from years past that the scoring pace is usually lower to medium scoring.

It realy doesn't matter that the guy who won works theres! at the end of the day, we all have to make shots!! I bowled today also, I made the cut  and would have made the finals if I made some better shots, stop making excuses. Man-up and stop complaining bro. Your a bowler right? so act like one!!!

I believe he has won it now 3 times over the course of 4/5 years.     He matches up to that building and lane surface very well.   I highly doubt there is anything fishy going on here, the guy simply bowls very very well in that center on most of the patterns.

C'mon Ryan Appel....Show a bit more class here. "The guy who won it", Brad Kemp, is the head mechanic and is a VERY TALENTED BOWLER. He has won this tournament 3 times, 2 in this center and once in the old center. He has only been working as the mechanic for less than a year, so the other 2 times he won it, he had NO AFFILIATION with the center. The pattern changes EVERY year. While we are on the subject, why not mention the fact that 3 of the top 5 from yesterday are ALWAYS in the top 5....Maybe they are just good bowlers.

 

Anyway, THANK YOU to everyone who showed up and bowled yesterday. George runs a good tournament and had a good turnout again. Hopefully we'll see most of you again next year!

 I also bowled yesterday. Very good tournament, very well run, shot played fair I saw both right and left scoring!!  As far as brad winning.. Congrats to him!!! I bowled with him for years and he has a ton of talent. He threw the ball great all day.. As far as him being the mechanic, you still have to make shots and execute and he beat a ton of talented bowlers. But in my opinion the only reason he won was due to the fact he had his old school Track Triton shirt on that might have fit my 14 month old haha!! Maybe if I would wore my KO punch shirt I would've  faired out a little better. Good job to everyone involved

I heard it was a good tournament. I was planning on making the trip from Baltimore but my friends threw me a surprise dinner and was in no shape to wake up at 5am!

 

The fact the winner was the mechanic is a little shady but the fact he beat that many players leads to the fact he is a good player. He won this event 3 times also means he is a good player so back off on the home cooking idea. However, maybe like in other tournaments employees of the center cannot bowl would solve this dilema for next time. Just my 2 cents that never add up to anything....
