haha, Donny. I was only asking so I know to bring my dead equipment. It was a house shot last time and I came, right? And good, I am glad you will be there tonight. You should come and introduce yourself to me so we can become better acquainted, but I think I already know who you are.

Oh I know you were there last time.  I followed your pair and had to wait 10-15 minutes for you all to finish each game because you held things up, per usual.

It is bad enough that you bowl so slow but must we have to listen to your crying for 10 minutes after each game when we aren't even bowling with you?

Leave the ego at home tonight Dave!

See you tonight

I guess it didn''t bother everyone on your pair, cause one of you won the tournament. I''ll leave it at home tonight just for you. Thanks for the heads up.

It was def a challenge.. One of the hardest shots I've ever bowled on. It showed you how good you were at shooting spares..

@Bowler838 can you answer me this... Why as a "bowler" does a low scoring event qualify as a cannot miss event? Regardless of what's on the lane, a "competitor" just wants to compete and win regardless.

And before you tell me the peanut butter & jelly or cookie answer about high scoring conditions and guys not repeating, spraying the ball, etc. Truth be told, if you have a competitive fire, money and time, the oil pattern should be the last thing keeping you from a tournament. Now if the tournament is run bad, that is entirely different story. The ole saying about the cream rises to the top applies at every tournament. You might luck into a good night at league but it is hard to luck into a good tournament. Donald Trump is always on here stirring up the fire and egging folks on but it appears he is at a lot of events so we can't knock his hustle.

@Jaraard - Nice event as usual! It was tricky as expected and required some rest to recover. LOL

Exactly my point Jeff. Yes, I do participate in a lot of tournaments.  I will set aside my differences for Dave L. to stay on topic here.  I, like Dave L. and apparently Bowler838 enjoy the lower scoring tournaments but a higher scoring tournament does not scare me away.  I just want to go out and compete.

I wish the turnout for all tournaments was greater.  It seems like people say they want tough conditions but don't show up and when they are easy, guys like Dave do nothing but complain and eventually don't show up either.

High or low scoring, if you're a bowler, let's support tournament bowling.

Dave doesn't realize that I agree with most of his lane condition discussions.  However, whining about scores and conditions constantly only discourages people from participating.

I didn't mind bowling in the same sport shot league with Dave because we knew what to expect each week for a condition.  But when you go to a tournament, just let the chips fall where they may and don't complain about it, SUPPORT IT!!!

High scoring tournaments dont scare me away. I can hit the easy patterns with the best of them just like anyone else. I just like to bowl on challenging patters more often cause its the best way to improve my game.  I just like seeing a tournament won with a lower number than with a bowler averaging 240+. I wanted to bowl but couldn''t because I had to be at work at 8am. I to wish the turnouts were greater and compete as often as i can.

I''ll bowl on any pattern house or sport and i have.  The only thing that matters for me is makin sure i got the time and money which as of late is hard. I''ve cashed in sport shot tournaments and house shot tournaments.  I just really like a grind out event every once in a while.  Those are my favorite.  That''s just my personal opinion

I will bowl any tournament. I would rather have a long format house shot than a short format. With the law of large numbers, the cream always rises to the top. I haven't complained in a while about lane conditions, nor will I in the future. DT's hate for me stems far beyond that. I can average 230 on something easy, I have done it before and will do it again. I love to compete, bottom line. Guess that is one thing me and DT can agree on.
